During the filming of BIGGER THAN US in 2019 Melati met students and young adults who sign up, for a summer or more, to ensure the safety of migrants who reach Europe from the Greek coast. While filming BIGGER THAN US in Brazil, Melati Wijsen met Raull Santiago, one of the most influential voices in the favelas. After screening BIGGER THAN US at la Maison de la Paix, Flore telles it all on why she decided to do everything she can to support youth empowerment and what she has learnt when meeting BIGGER THAN US protagonists. Here she also meets with Louise Mabulo, 23 years-old, wha has launched the Cacao Project, a seed-exchange and social initiative in the Philippines. Like Memory en 2019, she is one of the laureate of the Young Activist Summit.

On November 22, emlyon business school welcomed Memory Banda, a young activist of the #biggerthanus film who raised the age of marriage from 13 to 18 in Malawi and who fights for the emancipation of women through education .
